My name is Diamond Newsome. I am a proud Bahamian-American. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Berry College and recently received a Master of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Florida State University. 

I currently am employed by The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where I serve as a Community Coordinator in the Campus Living and Residential Education department. 

I enjoy the performing arts, traveling, cooking, spending time with loved ones and advocating for those who aren’t always able to advocate for themselves. 

I am thrilled to be part of the Cleft of the Rock team as I firmly believe in the mission and love the opportunity to raise awareness for parent education and providing for families in need.
