What do we Offer?
Cleft of the Rock Foundation, Inc. is uniquely poised to offer education, resources, support, guidance and overall assistance to parents, grandparents, and families who are either struggling with the challenges of raising responsible adults, or who recognize that without a plan, they will struggle one day. We are a working-volunteer organization that leans on those who have successfully made it through our program and various levels, to assist in the guidance and encouragement of those moms and dads who may be a few steps behind. We have activities and events that bring families together and facilitate bonding in ways that are rare in today's technology-driven and socially disconnected society. We take it back to the "good old days" by rebuilding "The Village," a network of families who are like-minded in their parenting philosophies and plans or the futures of their children.
Our services are for anyone who is a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or any other stakeholders in the lives of our society's most precious commodity; our children.
There is no class in high school or college that teaches you how to be a deliberate parent. No course that helps people young and old understand the impact that every day interaction has on the impressionable minds they are molding. Most are barely surviving the perils of the parenting maze, hoping to get out on the other side in one piece. What's your story?
Cleft of the Rock Foundation, Inc. was born out of the founders innate calling to support and train parents, and to help raise as many children as possible. In January 1996 this journey began and took the form of life coaching on an individual basis, taking kids and young adults into her home, supporting them through school into a career, and then through marriage and family life. By the end of 2016 she had housed/raised or helped to raise 19 children, and coached over 100 children and families
